'Sister Wives' season 8 news, updates, rumors: Kody talks of divorcing Robyn?
The rumor mill continues to roar with shocking reports as it is said that Kody is planning to divorce his only legal wife, Robyn, and the said discussions are allegedly keeping "Sister Wives" season eight from happening.
According to reports, Kody's plans to divorce Robyn are fueled by his desire to get two more wives. The Brown family's head reportedly announced his big plans and Robyn is said to be pushing for the separation as she was insulted by Kody's declarations about two new wives and divorce.
Aside from Robyn, it has also been alleged that two other wives, Meri and Christine, whom Kody refers to as his spiritual wives, are rumored to walk out of Kody's life. If this happens, the polygamist will be left with one spiritual wife, Janelle.
Over the past few months, Kody has been the center of criticism after rumors emerged pointing to his alleged plans of adding two more wives into his already large brood. It was said that one of the women he wants to add to the clan is a family friend while the other is a close relative of Christine's. If the rumors are true, Kody is building an intertwined kingdom which may not be very acceptable for most fans who first liked how the Brown family ran their own free lives.
While Kody has a lot to fix inside his household in case the rumors are true, TLC also has a lot of explaining to do if it has indeed decided to cancel "Sister Wives" season eight. The network has yet to address the issues and the reality show's eighth installment remains in limbo until official word comes out.
There's also the legal case that Kody and his wives are fighting for. They have been pushing for polygamy to be legalized in Utah but it seems that it will take a lot of years before any results come into fruition.
TLC has yet to confirm if "Sister Wives" season eight will ever happen.
